MOSQUE Wazir Khan - LAHORE, PAKISTAN

Wazir Khan Mosque, in the Lahore, Pakistan. It is among the most beautiful in the world, was built in just seven years, and work commenced around 1634 or 1635, in the middle of the reign of the Mughal Shah Jehan. Hakim was built by Shaikh Ilm ud din Ansari, a native of Chiniot. The mosque is located right in the middle of the historic center of the city, and is the easiest access from the gates of Delhi. What's more, it contains some of the most beautiful examples of tile work Qashani (a style of mosaic) from the Mughal period.
