Scientists think that soon we will receive a message by aliens. According to astronomers the message is expected for 2015 by alien life forms in the solar system Altair. They say that the message will be the answer to the radio signal sent to Altair a quarter century ago by Hisashi Hirabayashi, Japanese astronomer.
According to the words of Mr. Hirabayashi, the answer should arrive in 2015. This in case that extraterrestrial creatures have received the message, they have decoded and have sent an instantaneous response. Altair would be about 16 light years from our planet.
Hisashi Hirabayashi worked as a scientist at the Univeristy of 'Astronomical Observatory of Tokyo. Now this institution is called National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. In 1983, with his colleague Masaki Morimoto, sent a message using a radio telescope USA.
It was the time of the celebration of the festival of Tanabata, traditional festival marking the 'meeting in the night sky of Vega and Altair, two stars symbolizing the goddess and the god Orihime Hikoboshi respectively.
Astronomers think that their message has reached Altair in 1999. It includes 13 images encoded in binary code, each image measuring 71 × 71 pixels and describes the characteristics of our solar system, the location of our planet, known chemical elements and structure complete human DNA. Scientists have tried to explain how it has evolved biological life on Earth.
According to the theories reported by Mr. Hirabayashi, if the level of alien intelligence is sufficient to receive and decode the message, will have been able to respond. However, it is still skeptical about this possibility.
"I believe that aliens exist, but they are difficult to find. We did not observe planets around Altair, so it will be difficult to get a response, "he said. Recently, the images sent from 'astronomer were revealed after several years. Morimoto, working to 'Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory, found that among the images sent to Altair, if it finds one that includes the molecular formula of' ethanol, figuring the kanji character refers to Kanpai, the Japanese toast of "cheers! "(ndt. cheers) along with the English word" toast ".
According Hirabayashi, l 'idea was born during a toast and joking on the slightest possibility that aliens could understand this part of the message.
