Bora Bora, a Pacific paradise
Dream island in the middle of the Pacific, distant and exotic, is one of the most desired destinations in the world
Bora Bora is a name that immediately draws a heavenly place, the goal of a dream trip, the hidden desire (at least talking travel) of many. Is not exactly around the corner, it is located 250 kilometers north-west of Tahiti, in French Polynesia, in the middle of the Southern Pacific. The island is part of the Society Islands (of which there are also Tahiti, Moorea and Raiatea) in the group of the Leeward Islands.
Bora Bora has a morphology very special. The island itself is located in the middle of a lagoon, surrounded to the north and east by two motu, Motu Mute and Motu Piti Aau, two long flat islands covered with palm trees and mangroves. To the northeast is the island of Tevairoa that rises along the reef on the water.
To the southwest lies Motu Toopua, next to another small islet Teavanui, near which he was the only interruption of the reef and then the only step available to come to Bora Bora from the outside of the lagoon. This feature allows you to Bora Bora to be surrounded by water with very low all variants of turquoise and white sandy seabed.
The island, of course, lives primarily on tourism. Over the years they were born many luxury resorts, most of which are built on the motu around the lagoon, with rooms built on stilts. Bora Bora is the classic destination for honeymooners, but not only. The beautiful lagoon, perhaps the most beautiful in the world, is a natural pool in which you can practice all sorts of water sports.
A real paradise on earth, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on the planet, at least once in your life, it should be visited. For a long time, if possible.
Turquoise lagoons, soft white sands and warm orange sunsets are the perfect backdrop for a romantic adventure on the island. Swim along with tropical fish in aquatic natural reserve of Coral Gardens or Tupitipiti Point, or relax by turning on your own and admiring the wonderful view of Mount Otemanu, once volcanic. Lagoonarium able to observe the practice of shark feeding and swimming with the sea turtles. Finish the day with a delicious dinner at one of the finest French restaurants of the island, then sipping a tropical cocktail under the stars.
